Collecting Water

WALHT:
  1. Analyse information from visual images and use inferencing skills to build an understanding.
  2. Compare and contrast information to write a synthesis about it.

After analysing the poster image above, each member of our team responding to the questions or statements on the poster. These were recorded on post it notes.

This task involved comparing and contrasting similarities and difference.
Synthesis:

Both countries, Tonga and New Zealand have different ways of collecting water. In New Zealand, usually people collect water from modern taps which comes from reservoir connected to rivers. While in Tonga, they only use barrels for collecting rainwater which can then be boiled to cleanse it. Some Tongans (people from Tonga) also collect water from a nearby body of water e.g hand water wells which are connected through pipes.
