The Assumption of Mary

The Assumption of Mary is the time where Mary ascended into heaven, body and soul. This year,
Christians celebrate this holy event on the 15th of August 2018. We remember Mary as the mother of
Jesus, our saviour.  This day marks as the last day of Mary's earthly life and the beginning of her life
with her son in heaven.

The Mysterious Figure

The Mysterious Figure

Josh was just a young boy, around 11 years old when he saved his parents from an 'alien invasion'.
However, it has been 4 years and he is now 15 years old, he has been solving extraterrestrial
problems that have been unusually occurring since then but this time, a new nemesis was about
to emerge with a plan of world domination, this was not going to be a simple task.

One day when Josh was practising to control his new power, the blue sky darkened and became
gloomy as the sun vanished from the finite sky. Josh knew it was his time to rescue the world again.
His dad was just too old to accompany him on his missions, so he gave his beloved son the special
bronze star badge which he received right before the events of the 'alien invasion'. Josh's dad
constantly believed in Josh and he knew he could do accomplish what he wanted but Josh wanted
to end risking his life and staying with his family. After all, Josh was the youngest superhero on Earth,
but he still knew that he had other things he could spend time with his family on.

Josh flew to the sky to scout the area for any unusual things in his town while he felt hesitation in his
mind. Josh really persuaded himself to go back to his home but he had to save all of his friends who
were inside playing their personal consoles, ignoring the fact that the sky outside has darkened. He
found out that the library was where the kind old sailor was and the hospital where received his materials
for his ship but he noticed the bakery was gone. As he gazed upon where it used to be, the library
was half gone, its roof was torn apart from its walls. He flew on top of it to investigate anyone or
anything causing the unusual occurrences.

As Josh listened carefully, he noticed and was certain that someone was there and as swiftly as he
could, he turned his head to see his new enemy...

Potato Power?

WALHT: Investigating the use of vegetables as a power source, using potatoes
we investigated their energy and the strength of that via the use of a voltmeter.

WP - Whole Potato
H - Halves

1 wp (2h) - 1.68 volts
2 wp (4h) - 2.99 volts
3 wp (6h) - 4.60 volts
4 wp (8h) - 5.91 volts
5 wp (10h) - 7.34 volts
6 wp (12h) - 8.69 volts
7 wp (14h) - 9.68 volts

Overall the amount of volts (energy) can vary depending on the size of potato.
This is because when I my second tests, the reading on the voltmeter was different - it had about 0.50 volts difference. However the average amount of volts inside one potato is about 1.3 volts, but bigger potatoes might contain 1.5 - 1.6 volts and smaller potatoes might
contain 1 - 1.3 volts.
