Registration Day!

So today, Rachel and Hazel came to Room 8 to introduce the Summer Learning Journey. This time the topic is about the history of New Zealand extending from 200 years ago. We were also told that there were approximately 60 activities to do. Each activity is worth an unknown amount of points but the bonus points greatly give us 20 points. These points will be then tallied up and they will see the top 3 people who has the most points in each school who will be winning a prize. However, this doesn't end there, their staff will also tally up the points from each cluster and compare them. The cluster with the most points will surprisingly win a free tablet. This programme is very helpful to children during the holidays so that their knowledge doesn't drop. Instead of their knowledge lowering down through the holidays, it will instead rise up and extend more of our learning.
