How to Make Homemade Corn Dogs!
Materials:
- 1 big egg
- wooden skewers
- medium sized bowl
- 1 cup of milk
- vegetable oil
- sausages
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- saucepan
- stove
- white paper towels
Method:
- Using the medium sized bowl, mix the cornmeal, white sugar, salt, pepper and baking powder for about five minutes.
- Using the wooden skewers insert them into the sausages. Be careful not to poke yourself while inserting it in.
- Put the saucepan above the stove and place it on medium heat.
- Add oil into the saucepan and heat it up until it's hot.
- Dip and roll the sausages in the mixture you've made in Step 2. Make sure that the sausage is well coated with the mixture.
- Fry at least two to three corn dogs at a time so they do not overcrowd in the saucepan. Cook it for about three minutes or when the colour becomes light brown you can now remove them from the pan.
- Use paper towels to remove the excess oil from the cooked corn dogs.
- Enjoy your homemade corn dogs. Bon appetit!
